Cloud Picker, Dublin Airport

Cloud Picker coffee shops translate the character and identity of the independent Dublin roastery into the fast-moving environment of the terminal. Working closely with the teams at Cloud Picker and Nordic Elements Studio, the design sought to retain the warmth, familiarity and crafted atmosphere of the original café experience.

The interiors incorporate a series of bespoke elements, including refillable water stations, illuminated menu displays, merchandise shelving and integrated counter displays. A restrained palette of soft stone, oak, white steel, milky glass and stainless steel detailing creates a calm and contemporary environment.

Carefully coordinated within a live operational airport environment, the project balanced passenger circulation, durability and operational efficiency with a more tactile and hospitality-led approach to airport retail design.
