Fairview, Residential and Student Accommodation

Located on a constrained suburban site adjacent to mature convent grounds, this Fairview residential project balances high-density student accommodation with a sensitive low-rise neighbourhood through an introspective, courtyard-centred design. By orienting living spaces and communal areas inward, the scheme achieves a six-story massing that avoids overlooking private gardens while maximising views of the neighbouring greenery. The construction utilises volumetric off-site modular systems (MMC) to minimise local disruption and ensure architectural precision, complemented by a sustainable transport strategy that replaces private car parking with extensive cycling facilities and shared mobility. Ultimately, the project serves as a "carefully placed" intervention that prioritises shared landscape and quiet integration over urban assertion.
